The Ri-Traffic speed cushion, also known as a Berlin cushion, is an innovative traffic solution designed to enhance safety without impeding traffic flow. This speed cushion is ideal for roads with a maximum speed of 30 km/h, allowing larger vehicles, such as buses, to pass smoothly while effectively slowing down smaller vehicles like cars.

The Berlin cushion by Ri-Traffic is made from vulcanized synthetic rubber, a material known for its durability and robustness. This makes the cushion particularly suitable for heavy use, and with low maintenance costs, it provides a cost-effective long-term solution.
Flexible installation options
The Berlin cushion can be installed temporarily or permanently. Installation is straightforward with the modular system’s tongue-and-groove connections and the included fixing plugs, bolts, and caps. For extra adhesion, the cushion can also be glued with a two-component polyurethane adhesive, especially useful for busy traffic routes. However, gluing is optional and may make removal more difficult later.
